Klassen joins Rajasthan Royals team:
Rajasthan Royals have included South Africa’s explosive wicket-keeper batsman Heinrich Klassen for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Rajasthan has replaced Klassen in place of Australian player Steve Smith.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said, “In place of Smith, South African wicketkeeper Klassen has been included in the Rajasthan team with a registered and available player pool for Rs 50 lakhs.”
Klassen said, “I thank the Rajasthan Royals who gave me this opportunity and made a part of my team,” he said, this is my first match in the Indian Premier League and I will go to India for the first time. I am very excited to share the dressing room with big players. My eyes started reducing the chances of getting in the tournament and leaving the impact.
Recently during the tour of South Africa in India, Klassen made his international debut with an ODI series. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) did not allow Steve Smith, who was caught for a year’s ban, in the IPL this year, due to which Klassen has got an opportunity, and he would like to be good for the season and to leave his arc in this tournament.
Heinrich Klassen’s streak rate in T20 is 191.66, which will be considered very good for the IPL, he will have to ensure his place not only in the team of his captivating batting Rajasthan Royals but also in the hearts of the audience, and this is only possible, When he played his natural game and got the confidence that BCCI and Rajasthan Royals showed on him.
