The sixth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is going to begin on October 5 and fans around the country are excited about its beginnings. The new season auction was completed in the last month and all the teams made their roster for the coming campaign. Rider Monu Goyat became the most expensive player in the history of Pro kabaddi auction. He bought for Rs 1.51 crore by Haryana Steelers.
Jaipur is the first in Pink Panthers’ list which has the distinction of becoming a winner in the first season of Pro Kabaddi.

Season 1 Winner – Jaipur Pink Panthers
The opening session of the Pro Kabaddi League was won by Jaipur Pink Panthers, who defeated U Mububa in the final by 35-24 margins. The first session of PKL was a great start. Jaipur Pink Panthers had made an aggressive stance in the group stage of the league, due to its fatal tactics; they did not find any difficulty in reaching the finals.
They performed amazingly in the league and had finished on top of the table in the league stage, winning 10 out of their 14 matches. Rider Maninder Singh was a game changer for Pink Panthers, who scored 130 raid points in the season while Rohit Rana was the best defensive player with 38 tack points.
Season 2 Winner – U Mumba
The second season saw the side from Mumbai reign supreme as they romped to an emphatic win. In the second edition of the Pro Kabaddi, U Mumba squad was the best at that stage.
Mumba’s strength was the riders such as Mohit Chillar, Vishal Mane, Fazal Atrachali and Surendra Nada who played a key role to grab the title.
The U Mumba team was dependent on its deadly riders and in the second edition was the determination of the defence to lift the PKL trophy. The Mumbai-based unit had a revenge for its previous PKL season and they conquered the Bengaluru Bulls in the final.
Season 3 Winner – Patna Pirates
Patna pirate emerged as a strong contender in the third edition of PKL and proved that in the final, they defeated U Mumba by 31-28 margins and captured the trophy.
Season three finale was very good. Deepak Narwal, who came as an alternative, had taken a decision with a successful raid. Deepak Narwal left the mark of his talent and aggression and made a major contribution in the victory of Patna Pirate.
Season 4 Winner– Patna Pirates
Season 4 was also very successful for Patna Pirates. The whole team performed phenomenally and maintained their dominance in the league for the second consecutive time.
Patna Pirates removed Jaipur Pink Panthers in more than 37-29 wins and captured their second consecutive PKL crown.
Season 5 Winner – Patna Pirates
Patna has won the PKL title for the third consecutive season now. Patna Pirates defeated Gujarat Fortunions 55-38 to win the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 5 title at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
Gujarat tried to send their star raiders Sachin and Rohit more often in the opposition half in search of crucial points but failed to earn any.
Rider Pradeep Narwal (19 points) played for Patna to dominate the match with the single hand and win all-important victories.
Patna Pirates has been one of the most successful squads of this tournament, has achieved the distinction of becoming a winner in the three consecutive seasons of Pro Kabaddi league, which is a wonderful experience for Patna itself.
